Below is a diagram for a simple kill switch setup to immobilise any vehicle New or Old fitted with a starter motor.

You can use any type on/off switch – toggle – push button – rocker, smaller the better. The basic use is that the switch will kill power to the starter solenoid, so after you start your vehicle, turn the switch off, this won’t stop the vehicle from running. If you’re in an unfortunate situation where someone wants to high jack the vehicle – turn the car off if you can before they get a chance to get in the vehicle…. They won’t be starting that again.

Hide the switch under the dash – under the seat – anywhere that’s not easily found.
